This privacy policy is applicable to the Zeroagent app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for web browsers, which was developed by Zeromagic Labs Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a a Freemium service. This service is provided "AS IS".

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at Zeroagent unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Audit Your App Connections
Connect approved apps such as Shopify and configure mindfully. Since we only store and transfer data that you configure Zeroagent for, the first step is to only connect apps to Zeroagent that you have a compliant relationship with.

Delete Your App Connections
We allow anyone to delete their account as well as any Chat History which might contain personal information. Deleting your account also deletes or anonymizes all personal data we might have collected (except for things we must keep for other compliance, like billing records in order to pay taxes, etc.).

Survey Information We collect survery information submitted through surveys or from the content of any testimonials.

At ZeroAgent, our primary relationship revolves around users acting as Data Controllers and ZeroAgent as a Data Processor. For instance, when a Shopify store owner integrates their store with ZeroAgent to capture customer information (like Store ID, First Name, Last Name, and Email Address), ZeroAgent functions as the Data Processor that facilitates this data transfer. In addition to processing the data provided by the Data Controller, ZeroAgent may also process additional data, such as files, if provided to it. This additional data enables our AI Agents to gain more comprehensive knowledge and provide more accurate and informative responses.

In this scenario, Shopify serve as Data Processors, with ZeroAgent coordinating the flow of information. Additionally, ZeroAgent relies on several Sub-Service Providers to support its operations. Key examples include Microsoft Azure (our hosting provider) and Microsoft Azure OpenAI Services (our LLM provider). We prioritize minimizing data access for each Sub-Service Provider; for instance, Azure manages all user data, whereas Azure OpenAI only accesses a limited amount of data for context generation purposes.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect any precise information about the device's location.

Privacy & data governance

Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain User Provided Data (email address, access token) for as long as they are necessary to provide the services for which they are collected. Access token maybe be refreshed periodically, but the initial data collected will remain encrypted and stored only for the duration of the user's active engagement with the platform. Note that certain User Provided Data is essential for the Application to function correctly.

Data archival/removal Policy
The Service Provider follow strict archival and removal practices. User access tokens are deleted immediately upon the revoking or when a user disconnects from a Data Processors (such as Shopify), and user email addresses are also removed. We don't archive any user data.

Data Deletion Policy and Procedure
When a user requests deletion of their personal data, we first verify the user's identity to confirm authorization. Our Application then identifies and locates all instances of the user's data across our systems, including databases and backups. The user’s data is securely deleted, and any instances in backups are purged in the next scheduled backup cycle. Once deletion is complete, a confirmation is sent to the user.

Data Storage Policy The Service Provider stores all email addresses and access token in an encrypted format within Azure Cloud Database Services, which meets industry standards for data protection and encryption. Access tokens are managed in a way that limits access only to authorized personnel.

LLM Data Tendency Policy The Service Provider operates and uses Azure OpenAI services in a Provisioned Environment. No sensitive specific data or access tokens are stored persistently within the LLM. Any data requests are processed in real-time with strict attention to confidentiality and privacy.

NOTE: THE SERVICE PROVIDER DOES NOT RETAIN USER DATA OBTAINED THROUGH 'SHOPIFY' APIs OR OTHER 'DATA PROCESSOR' APIs TO DEVELOP, IMPROVE, OR TRAIN NON-PERSONALISED AI/ML MODELS.

OUR APPLICATION ONLY TRANSFERS THE API RESPONSE DATA OBTAINED FROM 'SHOPIFY' APIS OR OTHER 'DATA PROCESSOR' APIS TO AZURE OPENAI’S GPT-4 SERVICE FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF GENERATING A USER-READABLE RESPONSE TO SHOW ON THE APPLICATION INTERFACE. THIS DATA TRANSFER IS PROCESSED IN REAL-TIME, AND NO DATA OR RESPONSES ARE NOT RETAINED BY 'OPENAI' FOR THE MODEL IMPROVEMENT OR TRAINING PURPOSES AFTER PROCESSING. WE DON'T TRANSFER ANY SENSITIVE DATA, SUCH AS AUTHENTICATION TOKENS, PASSWORDS, OR PAYMENT INFORMATION, TO THIRD-PARTY AI TOOLS.

LLM Data Residency Policy
All data processed by GPT-4 is subject to OpenAI's data residency policies. We take steps to minimize data exposure by limiting sensitive information provided to the LLM

Shopify Data Usage Policy

Zeroagent is designed to enhance the shopping experience by providing personalized product recommendations and seamless interactions. To achieve this, we utilize certain Shopify data to build a robust knowledge base. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect Shopify data.

Data Collection: We collect the following data from Shopify:
- Product information (e.g., product titles, descriptions, prices)
- Customer data (e.g., customer IDs, names)
- Order data (e.g., order IDs, dates, totals)
Data Usage: We use the collected Shopify data as a knowledge base to train and improve our AI Agents. Specifically, we use this data to:

- Using minimal customer data (name and ID) to create a tailored shopping experience.
- Analyzing order and product data to ensure accurate and relevant product suggestions.
Data Protection: We value the privacy and security of your data. Here's how we ensure it:

No Data Sharing: The data is never shared with third parties outside of Shopify's ecosystem or used for purposes other than those specified above.
Data Retention: All data is stored securely, following industry-standard encryption and access control practices. We retain Shopify data for as long as necessary to provide our services and to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Customer Control: Customers can request data deletion or review their data upon request, in compliance with Shopify’s and regulatory requirement.

Security

The Service Provider are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve their Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Children’s Privacy

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (support@zeroagent.io) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This policy is effective as of 2025-01-16.

By using the Application, you are giving your consent to the Service Provider processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information.
